This scent is from the Lullaby Dream Series. This series of scents is meant to provide peace, calm, and tranquility. They are geared towards the thought of slowing the mind down and preparing for a gentle evening of sleep. No matter when your bedtime is, whether it's late at night, or early morning/afternoon, if you work late shifts, it's always nice to unwind for a few moments. Scent helps take us to moments and places in time that were peaceful. 
 
Adagio for Dreams is a prequel, a prelude, a perchance to dream, unencumbered. It's a feeling of safety during the sedation of sleep. Soft fluffy white marshmallows sit atop warm soothing vanilla milk with a hint of cream, while light vanilla intermingles on a background of tonka bean and gentle powdered musk. It's uncomplicated to render relaxation during times of complication. 
 
The underlying inspiration for this scent is from the composition by Samuel Barber, Adagio For Strings. I'm pretty sure I have this tune downloaded in every form. 
 
The fragrance makes me think of serene hazy cosmic skies against the shade of ivory cashmeran.
