Baseball and Ballet Diorama-upcycled doll shadow box-repurposed Madame Alexander dolls hanging wall art.
 
The dimensions of this box are 11.5 x 6.5 x 1". The box is painted a light shade of sky blue and white. The box is lined with tiny embellishments. Within lies a gridded box in the middle which is painted in varying shades of light pinks and contains a variety of white and black little bears. Cut mosaic glass and beads are throughout, and two upcycled dolls are on each side with little pups beside each one. One doll is wearing a baseball outfit and the other is wearing a ballerina tutu. 
 
This is a fun little piece with shades of blue, pink, and white. The message...a tomboy can be a princess..girls can be tough, yet delicate, at the same time. 
 
This piece is handmade and one of a kind. There may be small imperfections, which is consistent with vintage and handmade items. Each box is made carefully with love and hopefully, will make you smile. Sometimes, I don't see strands of glue left behind right away but, if it's there, it's no big deal to tweeze it off. This box can hang with the sawtooth hanger on back. It is not freestanding. 
 
My shadowbox pieces are eclectic and made from combinations of used and found objects, vintage items, and store purchased finds. I try to upcycle with various pieces when allowable and mix them with modern pieces for a diverse and unique assemblage. I've tried to capture the details in photos so please, look very carefully before purchasing.
