Doomsday Boulevard Diorama - apocalyptic characters shadow box - unusual art decor.- miniature metal swords - gamers - zombies. 
 
The dimensions of this box are 6 x 4 x 1". The box is lined with clear, steel gray, and gunmetal rhinestones, small pieces of jewelry, and two swords.
 
Inside the box is a scrapbook paper with a moon, mountains, and a house in the background. A sooty domino is up top with a skull face on it. An upcycled toy character with a futuristic gun stands on guard. Two other hand-painted clay characters stand off to the side, one bearing its own weapon. Are they zombies? Perhaps. But maybe, they're something even stranger...allies or enemies? Who knows?  A couple small steel nuts are painted with sooty gray rust to represent apocalyptic ash from a nuclear disaster.
 
This would be a gift for those who love doomsday apocalyptic movies, books, and games and persons who just appreciate the strange and unusual. 
 
My shadowbox pieces are eclectic and made from combinations of used and found objects, vintage items, and store purchased finds. I try to upcycle with various pieces when allowable and mix them with modern pieces for a diverse and unique assemblage. This piece can be hung with the sawtooth hanger on back, but can stand upright all on its own. I've tried to capture the details in photos so please, look very carefully before purchasing.
