Foolish Mortals Cat Diorama-Halloween shadow box-spooky art assemblage-creepy goth girl.
 
This initially started as a cauldron but, I though it looked better being a cat, so I added a hanger on back, or it can sit freestanding on its base. The box is 9 x 9 x 1 1/4" and has three shelves inside. This one is trimmed in fabric, flower cabs, moon and stars, autumn leaves, a skull cab in one top corner and a moon on the other corner. Inside are various goth girls, cats, pumpkins, a tree, an owl, a gravestone, a ghost resin piece, and fall leaves on each level. Several pieces of upcycled jewelry can be found throughout. Two unusual clay pieces are on the 2nd level that I painted and gave glitter effects.  You'll find other little unique details hidden amongst everything.  The words "Frightful Foolish Mortals" is spelled out and the word "star" is on the bottom level above the orange tree.
 
This piece is handmade and one of a kind. There may be small imperfections, which is consistent with vintage and handmade items. Each box is made carefully with love and hopefully, will make you smile. Sometimes, I don't see strands of glue left behind right away but, if it's there, it's no big deal to tweeze it off. It can hang with the sawtooth hanger on back or sit freestanding.
 
My shadowbox pieces are eclectic and made from combinations of used and found objects, vintage items, and store purchased finds. I try to upcycle with various pieces when allowable and mix them with modern pieces for a diverse and unique assemblage. I've tried to capture the details in photos so please, look very carefully before purchasing.

The items inside are not removable. They are glued in with very strong-bonding glue.
