Green and Purple square hanging ornament- Mardi Gras colors art-Fat Tuesday-door ornament.
 
This square ornament measures 5 1/2 x 4 1/4" and has a metal wire for hanging. It can be hung on doors or walls. 
 
I wanted to give this ornament somewhat of a Mardi Gras theme. I miss the events down south leading up to this festival. I painted the box with a fantasy metallic shade of light celadon green. A purple glittered resin swish sits in the middle and below it is a triangle that was once a piece of jewelry. Several other pieces of upcycled jewelry are on it too, as well as gears and dots.
 
This would make a good festive piece year-round but, especially for those who enjoy a Mardi Gras colored theme. 
 
This piece is handmade and one of a kind. There may be small imperfections, which is consistent with vintage and handmade items.
 
My pieces are eclectic and made from combinations of used and found objects, vintage items, and store purchased finds. I try to upcycle with various pieces when allowable and mix them with modern pieces for a diverse and unique assemblage. I've tried to capture the details in photos so please, look very carefully before purchasing.
