Opposites Attract Diorama- superhero character shadow box- boy and girl- relationship wall decor.
 
The dimensions of this box are 5 x 5 x 1". It's painted a metallic mocha shade and has a brass drawer pull on top.
 
The outside is trimmed with upcycled pieces of jewelry and glass tile.
 
Inside, the background has a painted block with a small sign on it that says "IF YOU'RE LUCKY ENOUGH TO BE DIFFERENT, NEVER CHANGE". Other stickers and pieces accompany it on the  background as well. Two completely different characters, a nerd and a warrior girl, are in the foreground with a dog in the middle. It's obvious they have opposite taste in clothing at least but, they love one another for their differences.
 
This would make a fun gift for friends or lovers. My closest friends were always guys and they knew, and accepted how strange I was. But, the dog always accepts you no matter what. 
 
My shadowbox pieces are eclectic and made from combinations of used and found objects, vintage items, and store purchased finds. I try to upcycle with various pieces when allowable and mix them with modern pieces for a diverse and unique assemblage. This piece can be hung with the sawtooth hanger on back, but can stand upright all on its own. I've tried to capture the details in photos so please, look very carefully before purchasing.

The items inside are not removable. They are glued in with very strong-bonding glue. 
Please do not pull on objects, as they can be removed with enough force. 
Do not use drawer pull on top to carry. It is for decoration only.
