Spring Wedding Diorama-spring flower mixed media collage-boy and girl romance-engagement wall art.
 
The dimensions of this box are 5 x 5 x 1 1/4". I gave this box a distressed washed and painted it a shade of light pinky beige. The outside of the box is lined in sheer fabric with cherry blossoms on it and the bottom has a piece of sheer light pink lace across it. A key and pearl piece are on the upper outside corners. Inside, on the back of the box has a piece of lace and a piece I did in pastel watercolors. Several varying floral pieces are positioned on top. A boy is about to give his true love a boquet of flowers while a pink rabbit and a bird keep watch. Tiny pieces of grass line the boy at his feet and an embellished glass bottle filled with tiny seed beads and rhinestones sit beside the girl. I splattered the back of the box with inky shades of pink, purple, and green. 
 
This is a whimsical little box that would make a unique gift for a wedding, engagement, Valentine's Day, or pretty much any time where true love is celebrated. I gave it more of a spring effect with the flowers and cherry blossoms. 
 
This piece is handmade and one of a kind. There may be small imperfections, which is consistent with vintage and handmade items. Each box is made carefully with love and hopefully, will make you smile. Sometimes, I don't see strands of glue left behind right away but, if it's there, it's no big deal to tweeze it off. This box can hang with the sawtooth hanger on back or sit freestanding. 
 
My shadowbox pieces are eclectic and made from combinations of used and found objects, vintage items, and store purchased finds. I try to upcycle with various pieces when allowable and mix them with modern pieces for a diverse and unique assemblage. I've tried to capture the details in photos so please, look very carefully before purchasing.

The items inside are not removable. They are glued in with very strong-bonding glue.
