They Wait Diorama- Halloween shadow box, goth girl, skeleton angel, graveyard, spooky art, mermaids.
 
The dimensions of this box are 6.5 x 4 1/4 x 1.5". It's painted a shade shifting color of purple and on back it melds into green. Both sides of the box have star shaped cutouts in which stringed lights could be displayed.
 
Inside, the centerpiece is two resin mermaids outside a shell. A little girl waits in the bottom right underneath a bat flying against the moon. Her favorite pink teddy bear sits in a chair beside a mini bottle of resin filled beads. The initial "K" is on top of the jar. A tombstone is in the bottom middle behind a purple rock. A winged skeleton angel sits with its legs crossed beside an old lantern and a small fire pit with a mini orange bottle inside it. Are they waiting for the girl? 
 
This one's an odd mix of curiosities. It leaves the reader, or the one looking at it, to finish the rest of the story. It takes place on the eve of autumn, when the leaves have not quite turned yet, depending on where you live. 
 
My shadowbox pieces are eclectic and made from combinations of used and found objects, vintage items, and store purchased finds. I try to upcycle with various pieces when allowable and mix them with modern pieces for a diverse and unique assemblage. This piece can be hung with the sawtooth hanger on back, but can stand upright all on its own. I've tried to capture the details in photos so please, look very carefully before purchasing.

The items inside are not removable. They are glued in with very strong-bonding glue. 
Please do not pull on objects, as they can be removed with enough force.
