Victorian Teatime Diorama-country cottage shadow box-antique thimble-Victorian cottagecore wall art.
 
The dimensions of this box are 4 x 4 x 1.5". I stained it, provided a distressed medium, and painted it an antique shade of off-white. It's topped with a miniature drawer pull. Inside is a Victorian girl sticker from some old stationary papers. Two little plates are hung beside her. Below is an old lantern, an antique sewing thimble, two mini glass jars I filled with tiny beads and embellished on the outside. I painted an old sewing thread spool and placed tiny rhinestones on it and a small saucer plate and cup sit atop it. It's time for an old-fashioned Victorian tea. 
 
This piece is handmade and one of a kind. There may be small imperfections, which is consistent with vintage and handmade items. Each box is made carefully with love and hopefully, will make you smile. Sometimes, I don't see strands of glue left behind right away but, if it's there, it's no big deal to tweeze it off. This box can hang with the sawtooth hanger on back or sit freestanding. 
 
My shadowbox pieces are eclectic and made from combinations of used and found objects, vintage items, and store purchased finds. I try to upcycle with various pieces when allowable and mix them with modern pieces for a diverse and unique assemblage. I've tried to capture the details in photos so please, look very carefully before purchasing.

The items inside are not removable. They are glued in with very strong-bonding glue.
