Winter Moon Man Diorama-man in the moon art assemblage-shadow box wall decor
 
This hanging shadow box is 6 x 4 x 1". It's painted blue with a glitter finished. Various glass tiles and small cabs line the outside trim. Inside is a blue moon man wearing a hat, which used to be a brooch. Two snowmen from an old Advent calendar are surrounded by a puppy and a white owl, while a little vintage angel flies above. In the sky is a sparkling rosegold Christmas snowflake that's embellished with a piece of upcycled jewelry. 
 
This is a theme that goes well beyond Christmas for those who love winter decor. 
 
This piece is handmade and one of a kind. There may be small imperfections, which is consistent with vintage and handmade items. Each box is made carefully with love and hopefully, will make you smile. Sometimes, I don't see strands of glue left behind right away but, if it's there, it's no big deal to tweeze it off. It can hang with the sawtooth hanger on back or sit freestanding.
 
My shadowbox pieces are eclectic and made from combinations of used and found objects, vintage items, and store purchased finds. I try to upcycle with various pieces when allowable and mix them with modern pieces for a diverse and unique assemblage. I've tried to capture the details in photos so please, look very carefully before purchasing.
